I don't know very much about Wedding Peach, but what do you like about it? Also, what makes Wedding Peach unique or special when comparing it to other Magical Girl Manga/Anime?
Full disclosure: I'm fairly busy right now and probably won't actually get around to watching the show any time soon, but I would still enjoy learning more about it and finding out why it's interesting to you!

The things that I love about the Wedding Peach series are the story and the characters. What makes Wedding Peach unique is that it's a series about love, but at the same time it also focuses on the Wedding theme which not a lot of Magical Girl anime series focus on. Of course the series is also about Angels and Demons fighting against each other too. It's okay if you don't have the time to watch Wedding Peach, but I'm glad that you want to know what the series is about.

Having a wedding theme is definitely unique for a Magical Girl manga/anime! How do they use weddings as a theme exactly? Is it mainly a visual theme, or do actual weddings happen? And how much emphasis is put on the love/romantic aspect versus the focus that is put on friendship?

Yes it is and the Wedding theme is mostly a visual theme. There are actual weddings that happen in the series, but only in the manga. As for the anime, only a mock wedding happened. The series puts a lot of emphasis on the love aspect and it also focuses on friendship too.

I just looked up the opening, and it looks very 90's! I mean that in the best possible way, I have a lot of nostalgia for 90's anime style.
As far as romance in Magical Girl things goes my first thought is Sailor Moon with Usagi and Mamoru, though there's also an emphasis on romance in Full Moon O Sagashite (different type of magical girl story... I wonder if most people would consider it a magical girl anime or not?). In some pretty cure (like Futari Wa) there's romance but it never gets developed too far and is mainly a crush/friendship.
Do they usually do something to develop the romances in every episode of Wedding Peach? Does the romance have a dramatic feel to it, or Is it more like a romantic comedy type of relationship?

Yes I agree that the Wedding Peach anime is very 90s just like the 90s Sailor Moon anime and yeah I love the 90s anime style too. The series does develop the romances in some episodes while in others they focus on the friendship parts. The romance can be both a romantic comedy and have a dramatic feel, but the dramatic feel of the romance only happens during the middle and the end of the series while in the beginning it's only the romantic comedy part.

Yeah it really is and I got into Wedding Peach by watching the anime first. When I finished watching the anime, that's when I start to read the manga. I got introduced to Wedding Peach by watching a Magical Girl timeline video on YouTube where it shows a bunch of magical girl series from all of the years like from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today.

When I first became interested in Magical Girl anime I was surprised by how many series are out there! Are most of your favorite anime from the 90's, or do you have some favorites from other decades too?

Yeah I was surprised too and it's amazing how the Magical Girl genre changed over the years. I have some favorite Magical Girl series that are from the 00s and 10s as well such as, Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody, Pretear, Ultra Maniac, Saintia Sho, etc. The other Magical Girl series from the 90s that I like besides Sailor Moon and Wedding Peach are Fancy Lala and Cardcaptor Sakura. I haven't watch any Magical Girl series that are from the 80s, 70s, and 60s though and I would love to watch them since I also love watching older anime series.

Yeah, it's tricky to find places to watch older anime. I don't remember how I found it, but I remember watching the first episode of Sally the Witch once. It was very silly! It was more of a straight-forward children's comedy sort of show.

Oh okay and I was introduced to the Magical Girl genre by watching Sailor Moon back when it was on Toonami which is a programming block that was on Cartoon Network. What I find interesting about Magical Girl anime is that girls are able to use their powers to save the world and/or just help people in general which in my honest opinion is very amazing.

I always wanted to watch Cartoon Network/Toonami back then, but my family didn't have cable, so I didn't have much exposure to the Magical Girl genre until a few years ago.
And Women are amazing, and they can have a lot of influence for good in the world! A lot of media has traditionally shown women in mainly passive roles, so it is nice to see stories with female characters who actively shape the stories they're in.

The changes I have noticed is that before the older Magical Girl series from the 60s, 70s, and 80s always focus on girls using their powers to just help people, but when the 90s came along that's when girls start to use their powers to transform into heroes and save the world.
