Yeah that's true and I think that's what the reboot series is doing since the original 2002 Tokyo Mew Mew anime series did have some changes from the manga. I'm still hoping that Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode and the Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-turn series would be animated though. It would also be interesting to see Tokyo Mew Mew Ole be animated as well since there's not a lot of Magical Boy anime series being made.
