Interest Check Magical Girl/Boy College

Stop me if you've heard this one before: I would like to see who would be interested in roleplaying in an RP where Magical Girl characters go to a college that promises to help enhance every character's special abilities through individual studies and training that attempt to get the most out of everyone's powers. The thing is that this college isn't trying to create an average school environment. It doesn't discriminate: Whether you're a boy or a girl, a child or an adult, whether you have graduated at the top of your class in regular school or never went to one at all, as long as someone has magical powers that they want to learn to control better, they will be accepted into this college, because no one is here to learn regular stuff like math or geography, so nothing but magical ability matters.
The college would have no specific learning schedule, letting everyone decide on their own when they want to learn and what they want to learn (however regularly attending classes would come with benefits). Outside of learning and improving magical ability, attendants would have the freedom to do almost anything they want, whether they want to hang out in their provided dorms, leave the premises to go and explore the city around it or use the college's very own dimensional transportation room to visit a friend's home world or take on a mission.
However, there would also be those that wouldn't want a college like this to exist. After all, if Magical Girls and Boys got stronger through proper training and experience, that would be very bothersome to the forces of evil. And so, you would occasionally also find yourselves under attack by those who want to shut the college down.

I would very likely create a small sign-up sheet with important details that everyone would need to fill out for their characters at the start so we have definitive data to work with, like what exactly each character can actually do so no one just conveniently pulls new abilities out of nowhere.
I also plan to integrate a sort of Ability Point System. Everyone would start out with a certain number of starting points that they could apply to certain stats as they would see fit. Through continuous attending of classes, characters would receive additional points that they could use to make their characters stronger so they could stand up to more powerful enemies.
With all that said, I would very likely set up a lot of NPCs in this RP as well, so there's a bit of world to interact with when you have no other roleplayers to interact with.

Who would be interested in something like that?
Also, feedback and suggestions are of course also welcome!

Wow, that sounds great!
I see you're even preparing an Ability System, that might prevent problems such as overpowered characters and power scales. Also, it could add more tension in battles!
On the other hand, and as you might have already seen, there are not many active users around, and other RP ideas haven't been pushed forward.
You might also want to write a more precise description of the background story, specially focusing on this Magical College, its enemies, the range of possible powers and if there might be any creative restriction in terms of characterization.

But if this goes on, count me in! My English is quite bad, but I'd try my best!

Well, I would think that the setting would be in a time where evil has really ramped up their plans and power moves, so at some point a group of Veteran Magical Girls decided that it was necessary to create a Magical College to train and upgrade current Magical Girls to survive to the new standards. And so they did, now supervising several parts of that college and helping out.
While attendants may occasionally be given training missions to take care of powered-up villains in areas ranging from local to completely different worlds or dimensions, the real enemies most often consist of Magical Girls' arch enemies who monitor their foes a bit too closely and want to prevent them and their friends from becoming real threats. Mostly actually smart mastermind villains that know someone inside the college, though sometimes word spreads to a random king of a universe or something. Just as dangerous however is the fact that more humanoid and/or magical-looking foes regularly attempt to infiltrate the college under the guise of a "student" to try and destroy it from within. So... you never know who could be out to get you while you try and better yourself. (I know it sounds broad)

While there isn't exactly a "range" to possible powers, there IS a limit. While you can go as low as you want on powers, the upper limit is basically this: Nothing that can literally alter time/reality and similar things, nothing that can be abused to automatically win battles all the time, and anything else on that kind of level or above.
In terms of characterization, aside from keeping the above power limit in mind, it would probably be preferable if characters at least remained as some sort of humanoid (of course mascots, familiars and the like don't fall under this rule) and would not be crazy big (they gotta fit through doors) or so small they may as well not exist. Aside from that, choice should be pretty much free.
Might still object to things though when they are not mentioned here and would break something.

That setting sounds exactly like a story I had planned a while ago... except for the college being destroyed and the old students becoming new teachers. But that's a story for another ocassion... The important thing about this is that I do have possible candidates for the characters I'd play as.

Anyway, seems like there's a lot of creative freedom. Cool. As long as nobody abuses that freedom, as you've stated, everything will be fine.

Welp, we still have to wait for more potential players tho...
